Smoking a Winston Cabin 8 Cigarette (Review) from Japan, , which contain 8mg of Tar, 0.6mg of Nicotine, and which were apparently first introduced in 1989 under a different name, which is due to this brand having not always been what it is today, it and it's due to the fact that Winston and Cabin used to be two separate brands. Cabin was / sort-of-still-kinda-is a Japanese brand of cigarettes that was first introduced in 1978 by Japan Tobacco. However, after many years, the choice was made to integrate the brand, along with another one known as Caster, into the Winston nameplate in 2015, and so precisely that was done, with most varieties being rebranded, but some discontinued. Apparently, this decision was made to increase sales by utilizing both nameplates on one pack. It's an unique conglomeration strategy that I haven't seen before, and from what I know, hasn't been done since, and from what I can tell at least, it appears to have panned out, as these are quite popular today, but whether that's due to the combination name, I do not know.
