Smoking a Fortuna Blue 100 Cigarette (Review), which is a light tobacco product currently distributed by ITG Brands in the United States, with this being an American-market pack. Fortuna, meaning fortune, or luck, in Spanish, is a brand of cigarettes that was first introduced in Spain in 1974 by Tabacalera, the country’s old tobacco monopoly, supposedly to compete with foreign products that were encroaching on their market share within the country. Apparently, the brand grew to be quite successful quite quickly, due to, from what I can tell at least, them undercutting comparable foreign brands in price. Today, the nameplate is no longer as popular as it once was, but it is still around of course, and today, it is now owned and produced by Imperial Brands, and is sold in a couple countries around the world, including the United States, and of course, Spain.
