Smoking a Seven Stars 14 Hard Pack Cigarette (Review) from Japan, which contains 14mg of Tar and 1.2mg of Nicotine. Seven Stars is a Japanese brand of cigarettes that was introduced in 1969 by Japan Tobacco, and quickly became the country's best selling brand, in part due to their marketing ploy; charcoal filters. Supposedly, SSs was the first cigarette brand to utilize charcoal filters to a significant degree, which is quite significant if true, but who knows how true that really is. The SSs 14's had only been sold in soft packs since 1969, but in 1995 a hard pack was introduced as an alternative, and that's what I reviewed in this video. Today, Seven Stars is still produced by Japan Tobacco, and is quite the legendary nameplate, having been featured in many manga and anime (including Nana) and it also still remains one of the best selling brands in the country.
