Review and Smoking a Wing's Menthol 100 Cigarette. Wings is an American budget brand of cigarettes that was first introduced in 1929 by Brown and Williamson, then a subsidiary of British American Tobacco, that quickly rose to popularity due to the great depression. However, afterwards, it seems like the brand may have struggled more so than not, and soon after the 1940's, information about them drops off dramatically, but it does appear the brand also started to be sold in Europe at some point, although I can't say for sure if they are still sold in Europe or not. Today, in the United States, Wings is still a budget brand of cigarettes, now produced by Japan Tobacco International, and it appears to be a somewhat regional brand, as I've never been able to find these for sale in my state or states near me.
