Smoking a Chinese Cigarette for the First Time, specifically one that was both made in and for the People’s Republic of China (PRC). In specific, I smoked, and reviewed, the Liqun “New Edition” Cigarettes, which contained 11mg of Tar, 1.0mg of Nicotine, and 11mg of Carbon Monoxide, and were a “Virginia Type” Blend as well. Liqun is a Chinese cigarette brand that was first introduced in 1960 by the Hangzhou Factory. Apparently, today, the brand is now made by Zhejiang China Tobacco, and appears to be a more popular nameplate than not overall, supposedly appearing in the top 15 best sellers within the country.
