My guest in this video is Mr. Arsalan Majid @ArsalanMajid from @AWBFilms. Arsalan is an award-winning filmmaker based in Karachi, Pakistan. He began his filmmaking career at the age of 19, working on short films before going on to produce a number of acclaimed documentaries. He is best known for Waahi, which won first place among more than 2,000 entries at a national film festival in Pakistan. More recently, he released his first feature-length film, Beyond the Wetlands. DHA Karachi (Defence Housing Authority) is one of Pakistan's largest and most well-known planned residential communities. Originally established to provide housing for retired and serving military personnel, DHA is administered by the Defence Housing Authority, an autonomous organisation that operates under the oversight of the Pakistan Army. Today, DHA has grown far beyond its original purpose and is home to people from all walks of life, with its own infrastructure, parks, commercial districts, schools, and housing developments. The area's management, planning, and maintenance are often cited as reasons for its reputation as one of Karachi's most modern and well-maintained neighbourhoods.
