If you’re a foreigner travelling through Pakistan, especially in areas that see fewer international tourists, you may naturally attract a bit of curiosity and attention. One thing I’ve found helpful is wearing a shalwar kameez. It’s comfortable, appropriate for the local culture, and can help you blend in a little more while travelling. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with people being curious - for me, it’s simply about feeling more comfortable, respecting the local culture, and enjoying the experience without standing out quite as much. A small change that can make travelling Pakistan feel a lot easier.
