This is mehmaan nawazi - the deep-rooted tradition of treating a guest with generosity, respect, and warmth. While exploring Pakka Qila in Hyderabad, Sindh, this man refused to take my money. He told me that Allah would reward him for showing hospitality to a guest. Moments like this are what I love about travelling in Pakistan. Hospitality here isn't just about offering food or tea.
