This dresser design is very common. I see these a lot on Facebook Marketplace. Some are solid wood, heavy and well-built and some are not, but all the same style. So, make sure you know what are getting before you rush over and pick one up. I luckily, was able to pick up this dresser for free. I saw it on Marketplace and happened to be first to inquire. Yay! I love to take a common, everyday dresser and try to make it into something modern and elegant. I love it even more when it was something someone was about to throw out and I can save it and upgrade it and make it loveable again! The great thing about this style is that the options are endless. You can do just about anything to them. Strip them down and re-stain them, just stain the top, or just the base or paint the entire piece as I have done here. I wanted this to be an on trend, modern, yet simple design. One of the main things that was really bringing this dresser down was the super tiny drawer pulls. I could barely get my fingers through them. updated those using adjustable pulls, which are amazing! No new holes to drill and you can still have a completely new look! Painted in Rolling Hills by Benjamin Moore which is an earthy medium/dark green, my favorite! And mixed with the new gold pulls – a winning combination!
