These heavily weathered oak nightstands got a total makeover. I first used Bondo to fill in the heavily distressed edges of the top. Then made a putty from the powdered wood filler to fill in the heavy grain. Then into the spray tent for primer and paint. I first painted it beige, but it wasn’t speaking to me, so I switched and went gray! I also started out with gold hardware and changed that too and decided to go with black! When it was all done, I loved the gray and black combination! Sometimes the journey doesn’t always go as planned, but it always seems to turn out great in the end.
