In this The Last Caretaker Patch 5.5 video, I play the new Rising Tide PECO cartridge and discover that it is not just a simple minigame. It actually hides coordinates, a name, a secret location, and a new piece of story connected to Aaron Voss and Alina Voss. At first, Rising Tide looks like a stressful little stacking game where you build upward while the water rises. The higher your score gets, the more information unlocks. After pushing the score further, the cartridge reveals something much more important: coordinates, an access code, and the name Aaron Voss. That sends us across the map to a new secret location. On the way, I also test the game, improve the score, and realize the upgrade system inside Rising Tide lets you spend earned material to make mistakes and build higher. So yes, the game inside the game has progression too. When we finally reach the hidden location, the place turns out to be more than just another loot spot. There are holograms, hidden details, new resources, quantum crystals, and a grave connected to Aaron and Alina. The story suggests Aaron died before learning he would become a father, and Alina preserved the truth so their daughter would inherit more than just his name. This patch keeps proving that old and small systems in The Last Caretaker can hide much bigger secrets. A PCO cartridge becomes a puzzle, the puzzle becomes coordinates, and the coordinates lead to a new emotional story location. That is exactly why I love this game. I also explore the area for extra secrets, check the structures, scan around, loot resources, find holograms, and try to reach high places with the helicopter because apparently I cannot simply walk like a normal caretaker. This video is part minigame guide, part secret location discovery, part lore hunt, and part Patch 5.5 mystery. If you found more hidden memories, cartridges, coordinates, or secret rooms, let me know in the comments so we can uncover everything together.
