Currently Playing: The Last Caretaker New Horizons Needs Your Help! Patch Problems, Bugs & Tough Love

In this The Last Caretaker New Horizons update video, I give the patch some tough love. I love this game, and it is still the main game I cover on the channel, but after testing the new systems, rewards, tools, cables, gardens, Pishon, pears, samples, and resource changes, there are some serious problems that need player feedback. The first big issue is building physics and cable behavior. Since the recent graphic and physics changes, cables can look messy, disconnect after reloads, or choose strange paths when the game reloads an area. This may not matter to players with chaotic builds like mine, but for people with clean ships, organized grids, and carefully managed bases, this can become a major problem. Pishon, the Eden platform, is another big topic. The platform looks important, but right now it feels unfinished. You can build it, power it, plant trees, and produce oxygen, but the story stops before we really know what the platform is for. Since the Eden frame is only the small version, I think bigger platforms and more oxygen or atmosphere-related systems may come later, but for now players can waste a lot of resources without knowing what they are preparing for. I also talk about pears, holograms, paintings, and sample rewards. Pears mostly gave me Elysium birch seeds, and samples also gave confusing or weak rewards. Maybe the reward system is not fully implemented yet, or maybe these items are connected to a future Eden platform system. Either way, the current rewards do not feel clear or satisfying enough. The Recovery Grinder, distillation tower nerf, oil economy, weather changes, wind turbine power, waves, and resource balancing also need feedback from the community. These systems affect how every player builds, travels, fuels the ship, gathers iron, and manages late-game resources. This is the point where player feedback can genuinely shape the future of the game. New Horizons added many great ideas, but some of them need balancing, bug fixing, clearer rewards, and better communication. This video is not hate. It is tough love for an early access game that has huge potential and needs honest feedback from its players.
