Currently Playing: I Turned A Simple Quest Into Pure Chaos In The Last Caretaker New Patch : Moses Field Reserve Quest

The Last Caretaker is back with a new patch, and today we are jumping straight into the new quest at Warehouse Alpha. This update adds new bulk storage systems, large tanks, mine tanks, balloon tanks, CO2 tanks, bulk batteries, new visual tweaks, new memories, and at least one new PCO cartridge. The quest sends us back to Warehouse Alpha, where Moses apparently tested old field logistics prototypes. Inside the facility, we find the production area, fight some very rude enemies, and scan the new bulk prototype prints. The new storage containers look great, but the real question is whether they are actually worth building compared to the older storage options. The small magnetic tanks are the first big test, and honestly, they feel very questionable. They have low capacity, do not seem useful enough for the space they take, and I do not see a strong reason to use them yet. The larger containers are more interesting, especially the 6,000-liter versions and the bulk battery systems. Those may actually be useful depending on ship layout, space efficiency, and how much power or liquid storage you need. I also test the new bulk battery, which looks much more promising. The larger battery storage and higher power capacity could make it useful for late-game ships, especially if you are running wind turbines, Veils, factories, oxygen systems, or other high-demand setups. The patch also seems to include new graphics and lighting improvements. The ocean feels more dangerous, enemies have new glow effects, and some materials now have a more jelly-like animation. The game feels smoother in some places, but I also run into crashes, especially around enemies and ship movement, so this patch still needs more testing. There is also a new PCO cartridge connected to Power Records, and it looks like another little minigame challenge has been added. I will need more time to test the storage systems, find any hidden quests, check new landing pads, and see what else this patch has changed. This is the first look at the new patch, the Warehouse Alpha quest, and the new bulk storage prototypes. Let me know what you found, what crashed, what works, and whether these new tanks and batteries are actually worth rebuilding your ship around.
