Written by Don Covay and Otis Redding, Think About It, was one of a whole slew of songs that Redding recorded in the fall of 1967 just prior to the tragic airplane crash that took his life along with members of his touring band, the Bar-Kays. Think About It, was included on a posthumous album release by Atlantic titled, The Immortal Otis Redding, released in 1968.
