An underrated deep soul classic on the Stax label, Gorgeous George recorded this one-off on the Stax label in 1965. Gorgeous George was born Theodopholos George Odell and gained most of his notoriety from being one of the premier stage dress designers for artists costumes. He had a tailoring business in the Atlanta area and was also a sought after MC and warm-up act for numerous live shows. He only recorded a handful of singles as a solo artist and his Biggest Fool In Town is the creme de la creme of his recorded output.
