The Beaumont, Texas native, Barbara Lynn Ozen, hit the national charts in 1962 with her self-penned debut hit on the Jamie label, You'll Lose A Good Thing. Produced and recorded in New Orleans, her material on Jamie charted consistently from 1962 - 1966 when she signed with Atlantic Records. Lynn's 1964 release, Oh Baby(We Got A Good Thing Goin'), peaked at #19 on the Cash Box chart, week ending 8/1/64.
