Chicago native, Jean Plum, had previously recorded under the name, Bettye Jean Plummer, for various Chicago labels in the 1960's and early 1970's. When she came down to Memphis to record at Hi, she was going under the name of Jean Plum. Although she only recorded several sides for Hi, her last recording was this 1976 release, written by Willie Mitchell and Earl Randle, titled, I Love Him. It's a quality song that got virtually no airplay.
