Veda Brown's career at Stax consisted of four singles that were released on her. The only one that achieved some success was Short Stopping, which reached #28 in August of 1973. She had talent but Stax didn't really give her any promotional push at the time as Johnnie Taylor, Isaac Hayes and the Staple Singers were highlighting the roster by 1973.
