By the mid to late 1960's, there wasn't anything new about Bobby Bland. He was just grinding on the blues circuit, releasing records for his loyal base of fans. Rockin' In The Same Old Boat, was one of my favorites from this era of his career. A great song not being heard by most people in the United States outside of the south. It had enough of a following in his traditional markets to reach #24 on the Cash Box chart, week ending 12/28/68.
