5lb Pork Pie - Butchers Style • 3lbs of pork - Finely diced shoulder (2lbs) & pork belly (1lb) about the same size as your little fingernail - include fat but not rind • 12oz Smoked Bacon finely diced  • ½ tsp ground mace • 2 large pinches ground nutmeg • 1 tbsp fresh chopped sage • 1 tsp fresh chopped thyme • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp ground white pepper For the hot water pastry • 575g plain flour • 200g lard • 220ml water • Half teaspoon Salt Bake for up to 2 hours on 160c / 315f Any questions please drop me a line in the comments section My most recent release is here .
