CORNED BEEF POTATO AND ONION PASTIES 1 x sheet puff pastry (320g - 13oz) 1 x 340g ( 14oz ) corned beef 14oz cooked mashed potato 5oz pre-fried onions in butter 1 egg Salt & Pepper Parmesan to sprinkle Plate for cutting out 6”(15cm) diameter Dish for measuring eggwash edge 5”(12.5cm) diameter Key Pointers * Oven bake 25 - 35 mins 180c : 355f * Pile filling onto pastry disc - 1.5” (3.75cm) in height no more * Pastry thickness 0.5 inch or 1.25cm Tips * try and get the best quality canned corned beef * season your mashed potato well * to spice it up at a half teaspoon of chilli powder to the fried onions Advice *  engage in a classic British meal and serve these with baked beans and chips/fries * replace Parmesan with cheddar or don’t bother with the cheese * make it go further and increase your mashed potato content by 50% - it will still taste amazing Good luck, everybody.
