Currently Playing: Sam Shamoun Helps Catholic Who Says The Church Is Corrupt

In this video Sam Shamoun talks with a Catholic caller who says he has been listening to Todd Rushton, a Canadian believer, who claims the Catholic Church is involved in the military and invests in weapons. Sam answers that even if it were true, it shouldn’t be shocking, because Jesus’ own twelve included Judas, whom Jesus called a devil and who stole from the money box, and Jesus never removed him. He says wolves in the church have always existed while true shepherds like Taylor Marshall, Cardinal Viganò and Bishop Strickland call out the corruption, and he adds that it’s dishonest to blame “the Catholic Church” for what some leaders do. The caller admits he is disgruntled, finds it hard to go to mass and feels everyone around him is his enemy. He says his best prayer recently was alone by a fire praying for his dog’s hips. Sam tells him that peace is a false peace from Satan and that you can’t have Jesus without his church. He uses Matthew 13:44-46 on the treasure in the field and the pearl of great price, and Matthew 9:9-13 on the church as a hospital for the sick. He closes with Hebrews 13:17 on obeying leaders and Hebrews 10:23-25 on not abandoning the assembly.
