Sea Power Naval Combat in the Missile Age

Currently Playing: I Took My Former Ship Against Wolfpack345 | Sea Power PvP in the Palawan Passage

Today we’re taking Sea Power in a very different direction. Thanks to the Multiplayer Mod by malfboi,@Wolfpack345 and I face off in a modified 1-vs-1 version of the Palawan Passage mission (thanks Ian!). My job is to take USS Rentz safely through the passage while Wolfpack hunts me from below in a submarine. There’s a little more on the line for me in this one: Rentz is a ship I actually served aboard as one of her sonar supervisors. On the other side is Wolfpack345, a longtime submarine-sim player who knows exactly how to stay hidden, stalk surface ships, and wait for the right moment to attack. It becomes a straight-up battle of detection, positioning, patience, and ASW tactics. Can I use Rentz’s sensors and my sonar experience to find him before he gets into firing position, or can Wolfpack slip through the screen and put a torpedo into my former ship? One frigate. One submarine. No AI opponent to exploit—just two players trying to outthink each other in the Palawan Passage. #SeaPower #Wolfpack345 #NavalCombat #ASW #SubmarineWarfare #USSRentz #Ryu1940 I recommend going to check out Wolfpack345's channel if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/@Wolfpack345 Join the discord and chat about naval gaming: https://discord.gg/Ghd7USB7Wy
