Sea Power Naval Combat in the Missile Age

Currently Playing: EP.7 Destroyers and Frigates vs the Mighty Kirov | Defending Australia | Sea Power

Task Group 77.3 has been ordered to hunt down and destroy the Soviet nuclear-powered battlecruiser Kirov before she can threaten the defense of Australia. But before our destroyers and frigates can launch the main strike, we first have to blind the enemy. In Part 1 of Strike on the Monster, Soviet Tu-95 reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters are searching for our formation, hoping to locate us and pass targeting information to Kirov. If they succeed, TG 77.3 could soon face a devastating barrage of long-range Shipwreck missiles. Our first objective is to eliminate the Soviet air reconnaissance network while dealing with a smaller detachment of enemy warships steaming directly toward us. Every aircraft and ship destroyed brings us one step closer to striking Kirov without being detected first. This is only the opening phase of the battle. The main attack on the monster is still to come. #SeaPower #NavalCombat #PacificStrike85 #Kirov #TaskForceMode #NavalWarfare #Ryu1940 Join the discord and chat about naval gaming: https://discord.gg/Ghd7USB7Wy
