Sea Power Naval Combat in the Missile Age

Currently Playing: EP.11We’re Sent Alone to Sink a Slava and Her Escorts | Pacific Strike ’85 | Sea Power

We continue our Pacific Strike ’85 Task Force Mode campaign in Sea Power with a detached submarine operation in the South China Sea. This time, instead of commanding Task Group 77.3 directly, we take control of HMAS Orion and are ordered to hunt down a Soviet surface action group centered around a powerful Slava-class cruiser. The enemy force is escorting transport ships toward Palawan, and our mission is clear: find the Soviet group, get into position, and sink the Slava before turning on the remaining escorts and transports if the tactical situation allows. Can HMAS Orion get close enough to kill the cruiser and disrupt the Soviet operation in the South China Sea? #SeaPower #PacificStrike85 #TaskForceMode #SubmarineWarfare #Slava #NavalCombat #Ryu1940 Join the discord and chat about naval gaming: https://discord.gg/Ghd7USB7Wy
