The enemy is hiding in plain sight! In this episode of Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, we continue our playthrough of the Crossing the Line '86 campaign with Mission 4: Wolf Among Sheep. Task Group 136.3 has been dispatched to the waters off Dakar, West Africa, where Soviet forces have been attacking commercial shipping in the Atlantic. Several tankers have already been sunk or set ablaze, and intelligence suggests that a Soviet commerce raider disguised as a civilian merchant vessel is responsible. Our mission is to locate and destroy the disguised Soviet raider and the Tango-class submarine operating alongside it. But identifying the enemy won't be easy. The shipping lanes are filled with neutral merchant vessels, and engaging the wrong contact could have disastrous consequences. Making matters worse, Soviet Tu-16 Badgers armed with AS-6 Kingfish anti-ship missiles are operating from nearby airfields, adding another deadly threat to our task group.
