Altium Develop keeps live part data and alternates inside your design and brings manufacturer feedback in early, so details like solder mask clearances get settled before your power bank goes to fab: https://www.altium.com/develop?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=one-minute-pcb-design-reviews&utm_content=this-diy-power-bank-is-full-of-good-ideas Tech Consultant Zach Peterson reviews a DIY USB PD power bank in this 1 Min PCB Design Review, and the board is full of good ideas. The schematics and Draftsman document are well documented, every part uses the Part Choices feature, and the four-layer stackup puts two ground planes on the inner layers with no power layer. Zach also spots a 200 ohm resistor across the USB data lines and wonders if it's there to support charging for legacy USB-A devices. There are fixes, too. A disconnected polygon needs Pour Over All Same Net Objects and a re-pour, and all 47 DRC violations are minimum solder mask clearance errors, so Zach suggests running solder mask sliver checking as an online rule during placement. 💡 Watch Next: • USB Type-C Explained: The One App Note to Read First: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dAZeaFdib3A • Fix the Grounding on This Underwater Board | 1 Min PCB Design Review: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/blGp7-044vU • 262 DRC Violations to Squash | 1 Min PCB Design Review: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kMBC7-5hYg4 • This STM32 Board Needs a Ground Plane | 1 Min PCB Design Review: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3oIqq9MYQ5w 🔹 Connect with Zach: Want your design reviewed by Zach?
