More Color Dreams, more problems. The problem in question being the need to reconcile the wild disparity in quality between Crystal Mines and Robodemons. It does underscore the fact that you can't just paint all the work to come out of a single development studio with the same brush. That would be unfair to both games, both of which excel in very different ways. One of which is a really strong take on the gem-physics puzzle-action format, maybe the best on the console, while one of them may in fact be the worst NES game I have played so far. Truly, living at the extremes. ------------------------------ Please support this documentation project through Patreon (www.patreon.com/gamespite ), by picking up some of the related books (www.limitedrungames.com/collections/books ), or by buying a dumb T-shirt (https://jeremyparish.dashery.com ). ------------------------------ Metroidvania: The First Decade is available now at fine book chains and comic shops, such as B&N (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-history-of-metroidvania-jeremy-parish/1148489848 or https://www.amazon.com/History-Metroidvania-Decade-One-1980-1990/dp/1506754546/ ).
