This episode wraps up my Copying Clayton experiment, a full training block where I followed 36 of Clayton Young’s workouts leading into the 2025 California International Marathon. In this video I take you through the final week of training, traveling to Sacramento, my full carb-loading strategy, and race day footage from CIM. Then I break down what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d change next time. I’ve learned a ton from copying Clayton’s training, from the big threshold sessions to long-run structure, to how an Olympian thinks about consistency.
