How the weak become strong through Spanda. Many spiritual seekers secretly believe they must become strong before they can realize truth. This verse says exactly the opposite. Even a weak person, says Kallata, can accomplish what seems impossible by learning to take refuge in Spanda. Why? Because action does not arise from the limited individual. It arises from the deeper power of consciousness itself. We often think I am too old, too weak, I lack knowledge, I lack discipline. But these limitations belong to the surface personality. A small wave may appear powerless. Yet the entire ocean stands behind it. When the yogi discovers this hidden support, something remarkable happens. The one who felt incapable finds unexpected strength. The one overwhelmed by circumstances becomes steady. Even hunger and craving lose their tyranny. This does not mean the body ceases to need food. It means the inner sense of incompleteness begins to dissolve. This verse is not teaching self-confidence. It is teaching God-confidence. Not faith in the small self, but faith in the infinite consciousness already functioning through us. This is Spanda Karika Verse 38.
