English Translation: My eyes thirst for a glimpse of my Master; I have fixed my gaze your way and become oblivious of my body. Day and night, I find no respite and my anxiety causes me great distress. Anguished and constantly buffeted by thoughts, my mind does not become still. My body is worn out; I am in intense agony and my heart is afire with the pangs of separation. Restless, I lie down for a moment only to sit up an instant later; in another second, I rush to the courtyard. Both inside and out, my friends and companions try to console me with empty talk, but, says Charandas, Sukdev, my Beloved, does not bless me with his darshan.
