English Translation: I serve my Guru and pay homage to him. Today is a festive occasion for me. Today I am in supreme bliss; my anxiety has departed and I have met the Lord, Creator of the universe. Today it is spring in my home and I sing Your praises, my infinite Lord. Today the month of Phalgun has dawned on my soul; I play with my God in the abundance of joy. My service to the saint is my Holi festival; I am imbued with the deep crimson colour of the Lord’s love. My mind and body are in bloom; incomparable is their beauty; they do not wither in shade or sunshine, they flourish in all seasons. Meeting with my Guru, I am always in bloom. The elysian tree has bloomed for me; it bears flowers and gem-like fruits. I am fulfilled and satiated by singing the Lord’s praises. Slave Nanak meditates on the Lord, only on the Lord.
