English Translation: My Satguru is the adept dyer – he has dyed the fabric of my soul. Removing the dark stains, he coloured it madder red; repeated washings cannot discolour it and, with each passing day, it acquires a brighter glow. He put the water of loving affection into the pot of faith and reverence and, dissolving the colour of love in it, he immersed the fabric. Shaking the fabric vigorously, he dyed it by adding longing so profound that the colour became fast and vibrant. My Satguru has dyed the fabric of my soul – he is skilful and discerning. I sacrifice everything to him – body, mind, wealth, and my very life. Says Kabir: My Guru is the adept dyer; he has showered his grace upon me. Wearing this fabric of serenity, I am intoxicated and blessed. This shabad is published by Radha Soami Satsang Beas. You may visit our official website at: www.rssb.org
