English Translation: O devotee, only the one who realizes the mystery knows the secret of the land I dwell in! No scriptures or holy books can fathom it: it lies beyond explanation and description. There no caste, creed, race, or lineage nor any ritual, ceremony, or religious observance holds sway. Without water, it rains – neither sweet nor salty. In the mansion of Sunn, drums reverberate and the melodies of kingri, flute, and the sitar abound. There lightning flashes without clouds and without a sun there is light. There pearls are formed without a shell and melody resounds without notes. The radiance of Brahm is so resplendent that all the radiance and glow of the universe are put to shame. Beyond that lies the realm of the inaccessible, infinite Lord. Says Kabir: That is where I reside – only a beloved gurmukh realizes its mystery. This shabad is published by Radha Soami Satsang Beas.
