English Translation: O my mind, remember the Guru’s Nam constantly for one can lean on no one except the Guru. Always have the Guru as your only support; no one can hold back his benevolence. Look upon the Guru and God as one and accept whatever is his will. The woes of the one who is attuned to the Guru’s feet are stilled, and his doubts and pain are gone. One attains honour through the Guru’s service. I am always a sacrifice to the Guru. Seeing the vision of the Guru, one is blessed. The devotee of the Guru is always satiated. Never does pain afflict the devotee of the Guru. The Guru’s devotee becomes known everywhere. One cannot utter the praise of the Gurufor the Guru has merged in the transcendent God.
