I thought I was just coming here to eat seafood… then things got weird. Today I explored Keamari Port in Karachi, Pakistan - one of the busiest, roughest and most chaotic port areas in the country. Keamari is the gateway to Karachi Harbour and handles huge amounts of cargo, fishing activity, seafood trade and transport every single day. The area is famous for its bustling fish markets, seafood restaurants, cargo trucks, working-class communities and access to Manora Island. This place was complete sensory overload. Flies covering fresh fish, crowded streets, seafood markets, fishing bait, trucks everywhere… and even the Army stopped me from entering deeper into the port area. How was the seafood in Pakistan?
