As a Kiwi, I never expected to find a pukeko (Australasian swamphen) for sale in Pakistan. The shop owner called it a "Blue Bird" and was selling it for just 9,000 rupees or $54 NZD. I always thought pukeko were unique to New Zealand, but it turns out they're found in many countries around the world. Have you ever seen a pukeko outside New Zealand?
