It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 10 Episode 6 REACTION | "The Gang Misses the Boat" Syntell and Rekkai are back in the sunny streets for Season 10 Episode 6. It's Always Sunny Season 10 Episode 6, "The Gang Misses the Boat," opens with Dennis driving the Range Rover off a dock and into a river because it has air intake valves and is therefore amphibious. The gang has literally and figuratively missed the boat, and they decide — each and every one of them — that the problem is everyone else. Dennis sets out to prove he's still a cool, laid-back guy by selling the submerged Range Rover to a series of potential buyers who make the mistake of calling it a starter car. He does not successfully prove this. Frank finds a new crew — three guys who just bought a bar — and immediately appoints himself their benefactor, lets a ferret loose in the basement, and calls the health inspector. Mac puts on a mesh shirt, goes to a club, and comes home with a woman named Dusty who is called that because she is very into angel dust. Charlie and Dee go to lunch together like two normal human beings and discover that basically everything they say and do around each other is a defense mechanism. They write def poetry. It's actually good. They almost leave to do an open mic night. Stuff happens. Rum ham makes a comeback. The post-reaction is a good one: Mac's sexuality and the don't-ask-don't-tell dance this show has been running for ten seasons, the Charlie/Dee moment and what it means that two of the writers wrote themselves into that scene knowing that their real-life spouses are on set (Charlie Day and the Waitress are married, Rob and Kaitlin are married), the whole conversation about acting and when a scene is just a scene and when it isn't, Dennis's untethered golden god speech as one of the all-time Sunny monologues, Frank as a force of chaos that ruins every situation he enters by instinct, and what it means that this show is ten seasons in with eight more to go and still finding ways to hit.
