Dee wants everyone to try an escape room. The gang has never heard of one and assumes it's sexual. Dee proposes a wager: whoever gets out first gets a 20 oz sirloin steak. The actual escape room turns out to be built inside Dennis's own apartment, run by Amanda doing a questionable British accent, and the gang splits into teams — the men versus Dee — while immediately trying to establish an alpha through gum-chewing volume and a debate over whether Frank counts as the oldest and therefore the smartest. Dennis wanders into his own bedroom mid-game and triggers something else entirely — an alarm clock, a fingerprint e-signature, a safe word he was warned about and does not use. "Clever girl." Frank, Charlie, and Mac negotiate a heart-shaped lock and key through increasingly formal channels, at one point adopting full Charlie Day British-butler diction to settle steak-biting order and team leadership. Time runs out. Dee, trying to get into Dennis's soundproofed room to warn everyone, nearly gets hurt getting the door open — and in doing so, technically wins. Post-reaction: "Clever girl" got flagged instantly as the Jurassic Park raptor line, and Dennis delivering it like an actual predator was the highlight of the episode for both hosts. The escape-room-in-an-apartment concept struck both hosts as insane on its own. A long tangent followed on candy cigarettes, Big League Chew, and other questionable 90s snacks marketed at kids. Dee finally gets a win — first bite of the steak, official quarterback credit — and both hosts agreed she basically had to almost die for it.
