A scratch-off lottery ticket flies out of Dee's bag. A piano comes loose above Mac's head. Frank shouts a homophobic slur as the warning. Charlie kicks Mac clear. Everyone survives. Nobody agrees on who gets the ticket. They go to arbitration — because of course they do. Over three arbiters and seventeen hours, the Gang lays out its competing claims: Dee spent Dennis's tip money on the ticket instead of giving it to Cassie, the 21-year-old convenience store cashier Dennis has been very slowly cultivating. Charlie made the actual save. Frank insists the slur was heroic. Mac's exercise bike seat, modified with a fist-shaped "airflow" attachment, is entered into evidence. The third arbiter lands on a 50/50 split between Frank and Mac — unless Mac admits he's gay, in which case Frank's warning constitutes hate speech and Mac gets the full $10,000. Mac comes out. Mac wins the ticket. After seventeen hours of arbitration fees: Mac keeps $14. Post-reaction: Syntell and Rekkai work through everything the episode packs into 22 minutes. Frank's etymology lesson — the f-slur as a shorthand for bundles of sticks used to burn gay men. The moment Charlie, trying to make the same point, accidentally says the N-word mid-discussion. Then somehow the conversation lands on British pork offal: "faggots" as a UK term for a specific meat product (Mr. Brain's Faggots — real, confirmed, they pull it up). An Ali quote closes it. Both agree this is the episode where Mac steps out of the closet for good — and the show earns it.
