This generation is weak and disconnected from reality. 2- Lack of Discipline: Young people are not used to discomfort. They rely on Deliveroo, instant coffee, and everything being served to them. They don't know how to sweat, work, or take initiative. 3- Broken Families: Parents have outsourced parenting to madrasas. Children are 18, 19, 21 years old and have lost their Iman. The Parent's Role: Allah said to the Prophet ﷺ: "Wastabir alayha" – work hard on your family, not just provide for them. Allah is the Provider. You are the teacher, the inspirer, the one who spends time and attention. The Three-Stage Roadmap for Raising a Generation: 1) 0-7: Build love of Allah and His Messenger through stories and nature – not fear. No tajweed, no ahkam, just love. 2) 7-14: Teach Salah, understanding of the Quran, and purpose. Model the behavior you want your children to copy – they will not listen, they will copy. 3) 14-21: Befriend them before you let go. This is the last opportunity. If you haven't invested in them before this stage, it's too late. The One Question Every Young Person Must Answer: Write down what you will say when you stand before Allah. What is on your piece of paper? "I played Fortnite" is not going to get you into Jannah. Do Not Give a Smartphone Before 18: Restrict access to devices.
