The Prophet ﷺ said: "Act; you will find easy what Allah created you for." 3.Hone and Master the Skill: Never accept anything less than Ihsan (mastery). The Prophet ﷺ said: "Allah has prescribed mastery in everything." If you are a butcher, be a master butcher. If you are a scholar, be the best scholar. If you are a horse rider, be the best rider. 4. Use Your Skill for the Sake of Allah – Find a Gap in the Ummah: The Muslim community has urgent needs: financial advice, broken families, knife crime, lack of positive role models, education, mental health. Ask yourself: what problem can only I solve? Then go solve it. 5. Constantly Remember Allah and Seek Mentors: You cannot do it alone. Musa (AS) had Shu'ayb and Khidr. Find a mentor who has already done what you want to do. Find a tribe of like-minded people. Inspiring examples from the lecture: - Bilal (RA): His purpose was to embody and call to Salah. The Prophet ﷺ heard his footsteps in Paradise. - Khalid ibn al-Walid (RA): His purpose was military strategy. - Hassaan ibn Thabit (RA): His purpose was poetry – he became the Prophet's ﷺ PR wing against Quraysh attacks. - Aisha (RA): Her purpose was scholarship – she had a photographic memory. - Khadijah (RA): Her purpose was trade and commerce. - Abu Dhar (RA): He wanted leadership, but the Prophet ﷺ said: "You are too weak for that. Stay in your lane." The Crisis of Meaning: We live in a society that has removed God from the picture, leading to exponential anxiety and depression. Many of us are on autopilot, waiting for the Mahdi or the Messiah. But Allah put you here for a purpose. Step up. Master a skill. Fill the vacancies the Sahabah left behind.
