Hello friends! I knit TinCan Knits Antler Toque for myself a couple of months ago, and ever since my mom has been pointing out how much she likes that hat. And with her birthday coming up: let's knit her one of these cute cabled hats as well. However, here's the challenge: I run out of yarn after only knitting the ribbing. And the store where I bought the fiber no longer sells this braid of combed top. So what do we do? We grab our bits of naturally dyed wool and get to blending on my hand carders! Together with the magic that is zwartbles wool, will we able to make something that matches the indie dyed braid? Can we make a dupe of Regenbogenwolle's Copper Coin braid? And then finish the mommy and me matching hat in time for my mom's birthday?
