Hello friends! It's been a while since I've knitted some historic inspired shenanigans. So here we are! For my birthday i was gifted Tudor Roses by Alice Starmore and four skeins of John Arbon Textiles Yarnadelic sport. And those two made a lovely combination! The sweater, or I should say jumper, we're making today is one inspired by Queen Elizabeth the first. With bell sleeves and an elegant lace motif it has all the historic flair I want! During the knitting I will take you to some cool historic places in both Germany and Belgium, and I'll also be very pendantic about the agency of women during the middle ages and the victorian ideal of the silent little angel.
