Hello friends! And now for something completely different: let's make some ink. Normally I'd use oak galls to dye or mordant wool, but today we're making ink to draw with later. Almost the same way as they did in the middle ages: with oak galls. Oak galls are the egg cases of parasitic wasps, and they contain many tannins, which we want for ink and dye making! Also yes, you may chastise me for not wearing proper PPE. I'm always too excited to do things.
