Hello friends! The one sweater about which I get asked "what knitting pattern is this?" the most is actually not knit. And neither is the project we're making today. It is in fact Tunisian Crochet. A craft that took Victorian Europe by a storm. From the earliest knitting needles with hooks on the end in the late eighteenth century to the first pattern publications in the 1850s, this is a relatively young craft, with probably no ties to Tunisia whatsoever. In this video I'm making a Tunisan Crochet sweater in two yarns that were souvenirs from holidays. They give the finished project a very soft and teddylike appearance.
