So many folks with truck camper setups on their 1500s and 2500s often cannot find a good clear answer for what is better, air springs, Torklift stable loads, additional leaf spring, sway control arm, stronger coils, etc. In this video we try to unpack that a little further. This particular customer will be doing light overlanding in Canada and Alaska up on the Dempster highway. He wanted a light weight truck camper but still keep his soft suspension on his F250 short bed. That way he would not get rattled to bits on the rough, wash board roads. There is no such thing as one size fits all for suspension upgrades. Each truck has different suspension based on the trim level. As a general rule, the higher the trim level of the truck, the lower the truck bed payload. We recommend Torklift Stable Loads because they let the truck suspension do it's job rather than the load being shifted off of the suspension and into the chassis with airbags.
