Modular propane systems in an overland truck camper build are a super attractive idea. Especially with the Joolca Hot Tap water heater and the cozy Dickinson propane heaters fireplaces. But, how do those actually get plumbed in? We have built so many systems over the years and because we are a custom manufacturer and after market upfitting company, we are always approached by folks with the desire for modularity throughout their entire build. Modularity is great and we heavily encourage it. But there are certain aspects of a build that should be built in permanently so that the areas that truly need to be modular can be and the entire camper does not become this big project every time it is used. We have been building custom slide in truck campers, truck toppers and all kinds of simple overland builds since 1971 here in Alaska.
