I this video we go over what is behind the skin of another truck camper and how it was built. So many companies seem to miss the mark when it comes to proper structure. We have been building truck campers and toppers here in Alaska since 1971. We build on small scale and have learned what the good and bad practices are. An industry campaign has immerged among truck camper manufacturing companies and that is trashing on wood structure campers. Many say that a wood structure is garbage. That is simply not the case, it can actually be one of the best structures for a truck camper. It just needs to be done right. There is just sloppy and low quality building going on across the industry and our argument is that poor engineering and low skill execution is the problem more than the material used.
