From @obxospreycam on July 31, 2026. Bandit dives from the nest into the water, always a joyful thing to see. She gets herself out of the water and we see her flying back and forth. She returns to the nest and shakes herself off. Note: Smokey did his first dive July 29. No holding back our most clever chick! Unfortunately, the good part of the dive was not visible on camera; we could see him dive off the nest, but hitting the water and getting out was not visible. So no video clip...
